The translucency of the meat of tangerines and the textures of the peel have always fascinated me so I wanted to see if I could reflect that in oil. To set off the loveliness of the fruit I used a Dansk plate and an old blue-handled camping spoon, which served as a tool to carefully peel the rind in a spiral.
